Our History

In 1974, Brett began in the construction field working for a stonemason. As work decreased, he left and pursued employment with a construction business building new homes in the Doylestown area. At this time he began taking carpentry courses at night school that only enhanced his natural God-given abilities. As time moved on, the opportunity arose to work in the union with a large contracting firm based in Philadelphia. After two years, and for half the salary, he left for a small remodeling company in Bucks County.

His desire was to work in the residential field, enjoying his work versus a large paycheck. During this time he continued his night school education while his skills were developing daily on the job. Brett began to have the strong desire to be in business for himself, knowing he would be fully responsible for the outcome of all projects. He began to pray for the opportunity to be in his own business. In 1982 his prayer was answered. He determined to establish his business on God-honoring principles, using the verse, "Building upon a solid foundation" found in Luke 6:47-49 as the cornerstone. God made it very clear that He would provide for Brett, his wife Kim and their children, and a smooth transition took place. Together, they have consistently seen God's faithfulness over the years.
