As a design-build contracting group, we alleviate your need to navigate the relationships from client to contractor, and client to architect. With our combined architectural design and construction services, you have a unified team that effectively manages your design and easily implements any updates to your plan.

With our design-build team, we offer innovative designs and a project team that eliminates problems for you and makes your remodeling dreams a living reality. Not only is our Design-Build option available for simple projects, large-scale additions, and complex remodeling — but combined with our BKB Concierge Service® it extends our award winning customer service across all project aspects.

The Design-Build Advantage

Design-build is the bundling of both design services and construction skills, which means an integrated team approach. We have a seamless relationship and excellent communication between the team architects and we as contractor, which eliminates the need for you to navigate all professional relationships in a home renovation . We work with highly skilled, innovative, and experienced professionals with countless award-winning projects in their resume. Design-build is available for simple projects, large-scale additions, and complex remodeling, although we are certainly pleased to work with your architect.

We are blessed to have two outstanding carpenters—who are true craftsmen—employed with our company for over fifteen and thirty-five years, respectively. We also work only with hand-selected tradesmen with whom we’ve developed long-standing relationships. It’s not just a job site, it’s your home. The confidence and trust you place in us is not taken lightly. During construction, we are committed to cleanliness and order. Every effort is made to provide you with the most accessible living space possible throughout the duration. Cloth booties are used to keep debris out of your home, and we clean off all shoes and clothing from mud, dust and dirt before entering. Drop cloths and carpet runners are placed to protect finished flooring. Temporary plastic walls are set in place for dust protection. All project sites are cleaned daily, debris and materials are removed from living areas, and tools are put away in an orderly fashion. Jobs sites are swept daily. Upon completion of the renovation, your project space is scrubbed, cleaned and vacuumed thoroughly for its desired and remodeled use. We maintain a no-smoking policy on all project sites, including any cars or vehicles on your property. It is a violation of our policy to litter with any smoking materials on a project site. Client surveys repeatedly indicate how our approach to cleanliness astounds our homeowners. A beautification project can disorder a home and result in a temporary reduction in living space but every effort is made to minimize dirt and debris throughout the project.
