Project Highlights

Owners of this historical 1850’s farm property in Furlong wanted a fresh kitchen that still respected it’s historic beginnings.
While it is often a challenge to incorporate modern features while still designing them to look original to the home, Brett King Builders and their team was able to do just that.

They accomplished this by designing cabinets and countertops that look well-loved and lived-in, fixtures that had a “living finish,” and colors and tones that would have been plausible to have existed back in the 1850’s.

With some locally sourced, Buck’s County original Mercer tile and even a date marker above the stove, this beautiful kitchen has all the charm of an old farmhouse with modern conveniences any contemporary homeowner would love.
