As many historic brick row homes in Doylestown Borough can likely relate to, this homeowner found her center staircase to be confining and tight.
With a new layout in mind, an open, bright plan was created. This allowed light to pass up the staircase from both the front and back rooms of the home and gave much more breathing space to the stairway.
Now the staircase, which is visible upon first entering the home and from the dining room, has a character-filled look to fit with the historic feel of a home.
