This Bedminster home is one of the oldest and most beautiful in the area, boasting a gorgeous farmhouse and out-buildings, barns, and fields.
So it was only fitting that the rooms inside this old farmhouse matched the historic aesthetic. When renovating this bathroom, the homeowners wanted as much exposed stone to be visual as possible.
As such, the Brett King Builder team worked hard to incorporate the bathroom plumbing into the stone so it was not visible from the outside and highlighted only the beautiful stone.
The homeowners, who have a keen eye for detail as well as an impressive antiques collection, desired to have the room designed around 2 particular antiques– a large, glass antique linen cabinet and a beautifully built bathroom vanity.
This combination of traditional and contemporary aspects allowed for such items as the modern, wall-hung Toto toilet to be incorporated as well.
Today this bathroom stands as just one of many beautiful incorporated details in this historically preserved home thanks to the BKB team.
