“White Beauty”- Doylestown Master Bathroom Renovation
The owners of this circa 1876 home, desired a more spacious and usable master bedroom ensuite. The hope was to have a brighter, larger, and more modernized bathroom within the limited stone walls of its structure. The renovation entailed taking a portion of an adjacent bedroom to repurpose for the ensuite. Not willing to lose valuable interior space, the stone walls presented challenges. However, stone was cut, and chases were run. Moving comfortably from the master bedroom into the marble-enveloped luxury bath, overflowing with modern amenities, the historic structure takes on an updated feel without jeopardizing the home’s antiquity.
